We are delighted to announce that TCP Homecare has been shortlisted for two Patient Service Initiative of the Year nominations at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2026, recognising the impact of two innovative patient support programmes delivered in partnership with healthcare providers.
Our Home Parenteral Nutrition Patient Support Programme, in partnership with B. Braun Medical Ireland, has been recognised for its innovative approach to expanding access to care in the home.
The introduction of TCP Homecare’s connection and disconnection service, alongside subcutaneous fluid administration, has enabled a new cohort of patients to receive essential treatment at home who may previously have required ongoing hospital-based care.
By bringing more care into the home, the programme is helping to improve the patient experience, support greater independence and reduce pressure on hospital services, while ensuring patients continue to receive high-quality clinical care in the most appropriate setting.
TCP Homecare has also been shortlisted for the Wilson’s Disease Patient Support Programme, recognising our ongoing commitment to developing patient-focused services that make a meaningful difference to people living with complex and long-term conditions.
Both nominations highlight the expertise and dedication of our nursing teams, as well as the importance of collaboration with healthcare partners in developing innovative models of home-based care.
We are incredibly proud to see the work of our teams recognised on the national healthcare stage. A huge thank you to our dedicated TCP nurses, healthcare partners and, most importantly, the patients who place their trust in us every day.
We look forward to celebrating with all of the finalists at the Irish Healthcare Awards 2026.
