Introduction

• As part of TCP patient care services, we can now facilitate virtual visits for selected services.
• This allows greater flexibility for our patients, who can now get a visit anywhere.

Process

• TCP will notify the patient that they will receive a virtual nurse visit.   

             ◦    This meeting will work over a Mobile browser so that a patient can join anywhere as it works on Android or Apple devices

             ◦    This works across our secure Office 365 tenant.

• The patient will receive an email with instructions on how to join the call once booking is confirmed. 

             ◦    The user will need a copy of the prescription and the product they are due to take so the nurse can walk them through a visit.

             ◦    We advise the patient to set up the phone in an area where they feel comfortable and where they can use both hands

• The patient will also receive an email reminder 24hours before the appointment

             ◦    This will come from TCP_Virtual visits_No reply

             ◦    This is from our booking system, and not from a mailbox

             ◦    For any queries or cancellations, please get in touch with us via the main number.

• Once you join the call, you will be entered into a Lobby where the TCP nurse will admit you to begin the visit.
